Investcorp acquires majority stake in Contentserv
Investcorp Technology Partners has acquired a majority stake in product information management software company Contentserv.
The co-founders of the company, who will continue to lead it, reinvested in the transaction.
This acquisition is the sixth made using equity from Investcorp Technology Partners, which closed on $400m in December 2018. The fund targets fast-growing technology businesses headquartered in Europe that specialise in the data, analytics, IT security, fintech, payments, internet and mobility sectors. It deploys equity tickets of between $25-50m.
Following the transaction, the company plans to expand globally and will invest in product development. Managing director Gilbert Kamieniecky and Investcorp principal Georg Knoflach join the company's advisory board.

Founded in 2012, Contentserv offers product information management software that allow users to centrally store and manage product-related information for distribution across online and offline channels. Headquartered in Baar, the company employs more than 40 people in 20 offices around the world.
