
VR Equitypartner buys minority stake in Dittrich + Co
VR Equitypartner has acquired a significant minority stake in Germany-based industrial plastic components producer Dittrich + Co as part of an MBO.
Both of Dittrich + Co's managing directors will reman in their positions, according to a statement. Technical sales manager Manfred März will also acquire shares in the company and will join its management team.
VR Equitypartner plans to support the company's growth and will also support potential add-on acquisitions in the injection moulding technology and tool-making sector.
Company
Dittrich + Co produces plastic tools using construction and die cast machinery. It also produces plastic parts via plastic injection moulding. Its products are used in the automotive industry, as well as in the packing, furniture and medical technology industries. Founded in 1958 and based in Schwabmünchen, the company has 100 employees and reported 2018 revenues of almost €16.9m.
