Battery Ventures buys IMC Test & Measurement
Battery Ventures has acquired Germany-based equipment and software business IMC Test & Measurement.
The company will operate alongside Battery's existing test and measurement companies, US-based Audio Precision and Denmark-based Gras Sound & Vibration. The GP said in a statement that this will enable the companies to benefit from synergies and growth opportunities.
IMC's operations will continue to be headquartered in Germany and its management team will remain in place.
Battery Ventures is currently deploying equity via Battery Ventures XIII, which held a final close in February 2020 on $1.2bn. The fund continues the GP's strategy of investing in technology companies operating in cybersecurity, financial technology and industrial technology.
