
Capvis invests in IT consultancy AdEx Partners
Capvis has agreed to invest in privately-owned Hamburg-based AdEx Partners, an IT strategy and digital services consultancy.
Following the deal, the company's management team will continued invested in the business, according to a press release. Capvis will support AdEx's plans to expand its service portfolio, and to pursue further internationalization and M&A.
Mergermarket reported in September that AdEx Partners was exploring a sale advised by Lincoln International. The company was marketed off around EUR 10m in EBITDA for 2022, according to the report.
Capvis is deploying equity through funds including Capvis Equity V, which held a final close in September 2018 on EUR 1.2bn. The fund invests in companies based in the DACH and Benelux regions as well as Liechtenstein and Italy with enterprise values of around EUR 100m-500m, according to Unquote Data.
