
Z Capital buys Swiss hotel Waldhaus Flims
American GP Z Capital Partners, the private equity arm of Z Capital Group, has acquired Swiss hotel Waldhaus Flims Mountain Resort & Spa.
Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung reported that Z Capital offered CHF 40m for the hotel and that the Graubünden canton, in which the hotel is located, valued the property at CHF 69.2m.
Z Capital plans to improve Waldhaus Flims' standard to that of a five-star resort by renovating the hotel rooms, expanding the spa and fitness facilities and developing an integrated medical wellness component. The investor also plans to increasingly target visitors from Asia, India and the Middle East.

Established as an alpine summer destination spa hotel in 1877, Waldhaus Flims is situated in the resort town of Flims, approximately 140 kilometres from Zurich.
