Nord Holding buys Jumpers Group
Nord Holding has bought a 65% stake in German fitness chain Jumpers Group.
The German GP now owns a majority stake in Jumpers Group, alongside a 20% stake owned by the business's management and 15% held by a private investor.
Nord Holding currently has 30 portfolio companies in German-speaking countries. It operates as an evergreen fund from which it typically invests in mid-market companies.

Jumpers Group is a fitness chain headquartered in Rosenheim. Founded in 2005, it now owns 10 health clubs across the south of Germany, with two gyms launching in Augsburg and Nuremberg last year. Jumpers Group currently counts 26,000 members.

Stephan Schulan is co-founder and managing partner of Jumpers Group. Managing director Rainer Effinger led the deal for Nord Holding.
