Gilde acquires Comcave
Gilde Buy Out Partners has acquired a majority stake in German adult education provider Comcave Group.
Under Gilde's ownership, the company will look at carrying out an acquisitive growth strategy within the German education network.
Company
Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Dortmund, Comcave provides adult education and training services with a focus on IT-related education. The company operates 14 centres across Germany and also offers "virtual classrooms".
The company claims to provide more than 200 occupation retraining and advanced vocational training courses.

Maximilian Jaber is the founder and CEO of Comcave. Ralph Wyss is the chairman of Gilde.
