Partech International

Helmut Schön has been appointed general partner at venture capital firm Partech International, Paris. He will focus on strengthening the firm’s European team; Schön will especially focus on investment opportunities in Northern Europe, Germany and in the UK. Most recently he worked for WestLB Panmure, where he built up the technology group and was a member of the firm’s management committee, and, before that, he was responsible for Merrill Lynch’s technology banking business in Europe. Schön has around 20 years experience in the technology and telecommunications industries, of which he spent 13 years in investment banking. Schön has experience in fundraising as well as investing and exits.
