Marc Philippe, also aged 35, had worked at GE Capital European Equipment Finance and GE Equity since 1997, before launching his own business, FastAero.com, which acted as a supplier to the aeronautical industry. His previous experience in venture capital includes a period working for Duke Street Capital, where he coordinated the buyout of Blue Green and worked on the buyouts of Swedish company Byggfakta and UK company County Hotels. Prior to this, he had been at Société Générale Merchant Bank in London and had worked within the corporate finance department of Baring Brothers.
