Electra Partners Europe

Patrick Eisenchteter and Marc Philippe have joined Electra Partners Europe as directors. Eisenchteter, aged 35, joins Electra from Europ@Web, of which he was one of the founders and where he was vice chairman. Prior to his post at Europ@Web, where he was in charge of M&A, specialising in the Spanish and German markets, he had been an investment director at Fonds Partenaires Gestion, where he worked on a range of deals including the acquisition of Panzalim from Danone, the sale of Frans Bonhomme in 1999 and the investment in Direct Finance. Before joining Fonds Partenaires Gestion in 1997, he had worked in M&A at Arthur Andersen.

Marc Philippe, also aged 35, had worked at GE Capital European Equipment Finance and GE Equity since 1997, before launching his own business, FastAero.com, which acted as a supplier to the aeronautical industry. His previous experience in venture capital includes a period working for Duke Street Capital, where he coordinated the buyout of Blue Green and worked on the buyouts of Swedish company Byggfakta and UK company County Hotels. Prior to this, he had been at Société Générale Merchant Bank in London and had worked within the corporate finance department of Baring Brothers.
