The simultaneous buyout of SGTE and IES led by CDC-Services Industrie and Finances et Stratégies (see deals), has provided an exit for a group of venture capitalists including Finovelec, CDC Innovation, Soridec, and various investment structures belonging to the Banques Populaires group. Although no financial details regarding the exit have been disclosed, Jean-François Bru of CDC Innovation comments that the return on the investment was excellent. IES, which employs 40 staff, is based in Montpelier and produces low voltage switchboards for electronic circuits.
