Weil, Gotshal & Manges
David Aknin has left Linklaters to join the Paris office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges as a partner. Aknin specialises in private equity and mergers and acquisitions. The firm has also recruited senior Linklaters associate Emmanuelle Henry, who is a specialist in public takeovers and private equity. Weil, Gotshal & Manges opened its Paris office this year, merging with the French law firm Serra, Leavy & Casals. The firm has already recruited four lawyers as additional memebers to its competition practice, and is also planning to expand its London office.
