KPMG poaches Deloitte's private equity team
Deloitte has lost a private equity team comprising 16 professionals to rival firm KPMG in an effort to build the group's leveraged buyout practice. Included in the relocating team is Rustom Kharegat, who was a partner at Deloitte and headed up the company's European private equity transaction services. Kharegat is joined by Helen Pratten, Robert Ohrenstein and John Oldcorn, each of whom will become partners at KPMG, while Kharegat will assume the role of global head of large leveraged buyouts.
