Philippe Gleize has been appointed as an equity partner at CVC Capital Partners and will assume the general director role at the firm’s French office. Gleize began his career at Indosuez before subsequently joining Renault Véhicules Industriels. He was later recruited to join the structured finance department of America Express Bank before being appointed at Crédit Lyonnais. Gleize left the M&A department at Citibank in 1991 to join the CVC Paris office that today comprises seven investment professionals.
