Jean Schmitt is joining Sofinnova PartnersÂ’ information technology team, which is composed of Jean-Bernard Schmidt, Oliver Protard, Frank Delorme and Alain Rodermann. He will have a particular responsibility for Wireless Application Developers (WAD) and telecommunications technology firms. Schmitt is the founder of SLP InfoWare, a world leader in predictive customer relationship management software for the telecommunications sector. It was acquired by Gemplus in 2000, and since then Schitt has been chairman and CEO of InfoWare as well as vice president of Telecom Solutions and Applications at Gemplus.
