Richards Butler
Richards Butler has appointed Lucas d'Orgeval as partner on 2 May. D'Orgeval holds a MBA at ESSEC (leading French business school) and is a graduate of the University of Paris. He previously worked for Siméon & Associés and Lovells in Paris, specialising in corporate finance and particularly in private equity. D'Orgeval joined Richards Butler to expand the corporate finance practice in Paris and to develop the private equity practice in France, jointly with Karine Abbou, a partner since 1 May 2004, and Jean Luc Bouton, head of the corporate finance group. They work closely with the firm's London office, which is highly respected in this field. Orgeval commented: 'continuing my corporate finance work and developing the private equity practice is a particularly exciting challenge'.
