Legrand reports half-year results
Almost two years after the completion of its mega buyout from Schneider, Legrand has reported its 2004 half-year financial results with EBIT of EUR 255.8m on consolidated sales of EUR 1.48bn, up 7% on previous figures. In addition, the group has registered an operational margin of 17.2%, up three points on last year, and noted an increase in sales in Q2 2004 of 11.9%. According to Olivier Bazil, CEO of Legrand, these figures represent 'the strongest organic growth in the company's history.Â’
