Eurazeo
Eurazeo has appointed Patrick Sayer as chief executive, while the previous chairman and chief executive, Bruno Roger, becomes chair of the supervisory board. Sayer joins from Lazard, which is part-owned by Eurazeo, and where he had been a partner since 1995. The move is designed to move Eurazeo forward in its aim of becoming a dedicated private equity firm, rather than a holding company, and in becoming more active in the European private equity markets. It follows the appointments of Xavier Marin from ING Barings and Philippe Audouin, the former finance director of Europ@Web. Eurazeo is the product of the merger between Azeo and Eurafrance.
