The fragility of the French P2P market
The findings in the report outlined the weakness of the French P2P market. Over the past five years, the country achieved no more than six P2P transactions each year representing just 10% of de-listings and registering against a comparative 39 such deals per year in the UK. The report also highlights that the market has strong potential with 55% of those companies listed on the stock exchange registering a market cap of less than EUR 100m.
