ABN AMRO Capital France withdraws from early-stage technology market
Reports in the European press have outlined the departure of ABN AMRO Capital France from the early-stage venture capital landscape. The company is allegedly planning to focus exclusively on the buyouts in the mid-market following plans to merge its venture operations with those of Xange. The investment team including Dominique Agreche and Nicolas Rose are reported to be joining Xange, the venture division of La Poste while ABN AMRO retains a 33% stake in the new entity. Xange was originally launched at the beginning of 2003.
