Duke Street Capital to establish Paris office
It has been confirmed that Duke Street Capital is to open a new office in Paris, to be headed up by Frédéric Chauffier, who has, until now, coordinated Duke Street’s several French deals from the London office of the group. Past deals for Duke Street Capital in France include Insert/Publiprox (December 1999, page 24) and Marie Brizard (April 2000, page 23). The firm also recently realised an exit from Métaux Spéciaux, which was bought out by Royal Bank Private Equity. Chauffier will be joined at the new office by Boris Zaitra as a deputy director, and Samantha de Solla, as an investment manager.
