Apax negotiating for mobile satelit
Apax Partners is currently in negotiations to acquire France Télécom Mobile Satellite Communications from France Télécom. The French telecom group has applied to Germany's cartel office to approve the sale of France Télécom Mobile Satellite Communications to the private equity firm. According to a spokesperson at the cartel office, France Télécom Mobile Satellite Communications is based in France but has significant operations in Germany, which is why it needs to be approved by the antitrust authorities.
