Viventures holds general meeting
Viventures recently held a meeting for all investors in Viventures I. Investors received a return on the full EUR 118m invested in the fund and a dividend of 6%. The returns could increase yet further if good exits are realised on the 40 companies which continue to be held in the portfolio of the 1998 fund. The realisations so far include Cyras, which was sold to Ciena for EUR 1.3bn, Light Logic, which was sold to Intel for EUR 454m, and iFrance, which was sold to Vivendi for EUR 150m. The successor to the fund, Viventures II, which raised ]638m, has so far only invested EUR 60m.
