Lovells
The law firm Lovells has appointed three new partners to its Paris office. Gilles Ploix joins from Hughes Hubbard & Reed, while Olivier de Precigout and Jacques Bertran de Balanda join from Coudert Frères and Clifford Chance respectively. De Balanda will mainly focus on acquisition finance, while Ploix and De Precigout will advise on private equity deals and mergers and acquisitions. The firm has also made appointments in Frankfurt and London.
