SG Corporate & Investment Banking has announced the appointment of Chris Lovgren to its European Debt Capital Markets loan sales team. Lovgren will join in early May as a director within the European leveraged loans team. Based in London, he will report to Chris Baines, head of European loan distribution. Lovgren has spent four years with the leveraged loan sales team of UBS Warburg in London. He began his career with SG Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris, first as a graduate trainee and then as a fully-fledged member of the Paris loan syndication team. Now returning to SG CIB, Lovgren will work alongside Haresh Sheth, a recruit from Morgan Stanley in 2003, to provide cover to senior and subordinated debt investors, including banks and funds.
