Fortis Investments
Reports in the European press have stated that the Paris small-cap team of Fortis Investments is to move to the London office following the recruitment of four investment professionals from UK-based Baring Asset Management. Maria Polycarpou, Sascha Hirsch, Silvia Wendlinger and Sam Cosh will join the asset management arm of the bank shortly. Polycarpou will head the relocated team while Hirsch and Wendlinger both join in the capacity of fund manager. Cosh will be an analyst in the team. Fortis has allegedly stated that the remaining staff in the small-cap team will also move to London. Polycarpou will report directly to William de Vijlder.
