European Capital clocks up EUR 148m
European Capital has invested approximately EUR 148m in seven companies since it was established earlier this year. Six of these companies are majority owned by private equity sponsors. Five of the investments, totalling EUR 84m, were implemented by the groupÂ’s London office. Its Paris office had made two transactions, totalling EUR 64m. The groupÂ’s one stop buyout of Marco Polo Foods amounted to EUR 29m, while its mezzanine financing of AXA Private EquityÂ’s buyout of Eau Ecarlate came to EUR 35m.
