AGF Private Equity has announced the appointment of Martin Mabille to its fund-of-funds team. Mabille will be responsible for the development of co-investments in LBO transactions alongside buyout funds across Europe. His arrival follows that of Pierre-Antoine de Selancy who joined the group in 2003 to develop its secondary acquisitions activity. The team, now composed of seven professionals, manages diversified European funds-of-funds, which are focused on both primary and secondary fund investments, and co-investments in LBO transactions. Prior to joining AGF Private Equity, Mabille advised a European family office on their private equity strategy for one year. Previously, he was at BancBoston Capital in London for four years managing European direct investments in buyouts, development capital and secondary transactions. Before joining BancBoston Capital, Martin Mabille spent close to four years in strategic consulting and corporate finance at Ernst & Young in France. Mabille started his career in the M&A department of the Danone Group. He is a graduate of the EM Lyon and the ESSCA business school.Prior to joining AGF Private Equity, Pierre-Antoine de Selancy spent three years at Fondinvest Capital where he was in charge of secondary transactions and primary investments. His professional experience includes two years at Coller Capital in London, one year in a Lyon-based start-up and three years at Paribas Affaires Industrielles (PAI) in Hong-Kong and Paris. de Selancy is a graduate of the EM Lyon and the ESLSCA business school.
