Apax Partners & Cie

Cédric Rays has been promoted to the position of investment director at Apax Partners & Cie in Paris. He joined Apax Partners in 1999 from Banque Nationale de Paris, where he had been working on project finance in the energy and telecommuncations sectors. Previously, he was the administrative and financial director at Asseha, a family business specialising operating in the care sector. Since joining Apax Partners, he has been part of the leveraged buyouts team.

Apax Partners has also announced the appointment of Franck Noiret as an investment director in the telecommunications and information technology team. He joins from BERD in London, where he occupied the post of associate in the banking department, evaluating and structuring investments. He acted as principal banker for the bank's investments in the telecommunications, technology, information and media sectors. He was also involved in advising Central European governments and official bodies on privatisation. Formerly, Noiret worked at the corporate finance department of Société Générale in London, where he acted as relationship manager on international accounts such as News Corp./BskyB, Saatchi & Saatchi, Granada, Avenir Havas Media and Rank. He began his career with Arthur Andersen in Paris.
