Degroote and Hureaux join Karvelis to launch Capzanine
Following last month's departure of Christophe Karvelis from ABN AMRO Capital France (June 2004, page 3) to launch Capzanine, the new fund has announced the appointment of two more investment professionals. Thierry Degroote and Christophe Hureaux will both be leaving BBS Finance to join Karvelis. The two fund managers have been with the Eurazeo-owned private equity house since its creation in 1998 and have decided to leave to join the new vehicle, which will focus on both equity and mezzanine investments in the mid-market.
