Lanson bubbles around EUR 700m
According to press reports, bids for French Lanson International have come in at about EUR 700m. The debt-burdened French champagne house is currently owned 44% by Caisses dÂ’Epargne and 56% by the founding Mora family. The six bidders include Boizel Chanoine Champagne, Butler Capital Partners, LVMH together with Thienot, entrepreneur Jean Claude Darmon, a Credit Agricole consortium, and Bridgepoint.
