CDC Entreprises Equity Capital (CDC EEC) will shortly announce the appointment of three new senior executives. Paul Costa De Beauregard, a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines, joined Advent International as an Investment Manager in January 2001. Costa de Beauregard previously worked at Cap Gemini, the systems integration company, following his career at CGIP. Rudolf Mouradian will also join CDC EEC from Advent International, where he has worked as an investment executive since 1999. Previously he was in charge of corporate development at Lafarge Paints, as well as the company's Spanish and Benelux businesses. Prior to Lafarge, he spent three years in strategy consulting with Corporate Value Associates in Paris and London and four years in marketing and sales with Rhodia in its intermediary chemicals and environmental services units. Mouradian graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and has an MBA from INSEAD. Thirdly Olivier Boyadjian is to join the senior management team. Head of the structured finance team at Bank of Scotland Corporate Banking from May 2002, Boyadjian joined Bank of Scotland in 1999. He has led the bank's involvement in a number of key deals including HMY, Orefi, Domoservices and Moliflor Loisirs. He was previously senior manager for acquisition finance with the CIC Group, where he participated in transactions valued at around FRF 5.1bn involving Elis, Manoir Industries and Sandinvest. Prior to this, he was at KPMG.Major staff reshuffling has taken place at CDC EEC over the past few months. On 15 September 2004 Thierry Gisserot and Xavier Thoumieux left the group and a few months later set up the Charterhouse Paris office (February 2005, page 12). Fabien Castello, Eric Philippon and Paul de Fréminville also left the group on the same date. De Freminville currently works at GIMAR. On 16 September 2002, Edgard Taureau was appointed chairman and still holds the same position. Taureau was chairman of Viventures since 2003 and was previously chairman of Antexia, a joint-venture fund management company. Between 1999 and 2002 he managed the British private equity fund EIC. From 1995 to 1999, Taureau was successively CEO of ICL France and vice-chairman ICL Europe (subsidiary of Japanese group Fujistu). Previously he was CEO of computer distributor Métrologie from 1991 to 1994 and also European vice-chairman of Acer Computer from 1989. From 1985 to 1989 Taureau managed Altos Computer. Taureau's appointment coincided with that of Gilles Destremau, who has recently left the company. In March 2005, deal executives Vincent Pautet and Fabrice Georget handed in their notice at CDC Entreprises Equity Capital to join Gisserot and Thoumieux at Charterhouse's new Paris office.
