Deutsche Beteiligungs AG posts strong results
Deutsche Beteiligungs AG has started the financial year with very positive first quarter results. The IFRS-based consolidated net profit at 31 January 2005 totalled E19.6m. In the same quarter of the previous year, the comparable IFRS-based profit totalled to E-5.9m (E3.3m under German GAAP). The net asset value - the key indicator commonly used internationally to assess the performance of private equity companies - improved from E12.57 to E13.62 in the first quarter of the new financial year. This equals a rise of 8.4%.
