Cinven
Cinven has appointed two new investment executives to its French and German offices. Thierry Célestin is joining the Paris office from Lazard’s UK corporate finance office, where he was involved in deals including the IPO of Granada Media and the merger between Granada Group and Compass. Bruno Schick is appointed to Cinven’s Frankfurt office as investment director, leaving his position of CEO at German asset recovery company Surplex AG. Schick previously spent three years as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, where he was worked on a number of corporate finance and M&A transactions in the German-speaking regions. The appointments consolidate Cinven’s current strategy of sourcing European deal activity from local branch offices.
