Mediobanca announces plans to open a Paris office

Mediobanca has confirmed intentions to open a Paris office in April 2004. The move will represent the first division outside of Italy for the investment bank and Marc Vincent, formerly head of Citigroup's French office, will manage the operations. Initial plans have been outlined to hire ten investment bankers and launch operations once Vincent's 'gardening leave' from Citigroup is over in a few weeks. Mediobanca has also confirmed plans to open an additional office in Germany.
