Sigefi Private Equity
The Siparex management group, Sigefi Private Equity, has announced the promotions of three managing partners to assistant general managers. Benoît Metais, 40, began his career as senior auditor at Deloitte & Touche, before joining Siparex in 1989 as an investment executive. Later, he became managing partner in 1998, managing a team of five professionals based in Lyon and operating in Southern France. He is also responsible for Sigefi's Madrid office, which opened in June 2004 in association with the Portuguese group Banco Espirito Santo. Bertrand Rambaud, 40, joined the Siparex group as an investment executive at Sigefi Private Equity in 1991, having served as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance. Subsequently, Rambaud assumed responsibility of a team devoted to mid-market buyouts, which was founded in 2002. As managing partner, he is in charge of both a team of four professionals based in Lyon, operating in Rhône and Grand Est, and a team of four professionals based in Nantes, covering Western France. Pierre Rispoli, 40, started his career at Natexis. He joined Siparex in 1991 as an investment executive, becoming managing partner in 1998. As managing partner, he is in charge of both a team of nine professionals, five of whom are based in Paris and four in Lille, covering Northern France. Rispoli has also taken on the responsibility of the group's Milan office, which opened in 2003 in association with Banca Finnat.
