Richards Butler

Julien Proffit has joined Richards Butler, Paris, to strengthen the firm’s corporate finance division. Proffit has been registered to the Paris Bar since September 2000 and has previously worked for De Pardieu, Brocas, Mafféi & Leygonie, then for Shearman & Sterling LLP, where he specialised both in corporate finance and in LBO financing. He will work alongside Jean-Luc Bouton, Karine Abbou and Lucas d’Orgeval, focusing particularly on private equity deals.
