
Chamboredon joins the 3i Paris office from Viventures
Following the surprise departure of four 3i executives last year to raise an independent fund, the investment house has announced the appointment of Jean-David Chamboredon as a director to co-head the technology business team in Paris. Previously at Viventures, ChamboredonÂ’s team at 3i focuses on biotech and IT investment and is integrated in the 3i global technology business practice in the US, the UK, the Nordic region, Germany and France. Former 3i venture capitalists, Tom Sweet-Escott, Richard Campin, Chris Graham and Hugh Richards, have turned to Helix Associates to help them raise an independent fund have decided to call themselves Exponent Private Equity.
