Bank of Scotland sets up new Paris office
Bank of Scotland has announced the opening of new offices in the centre of Paris. The new base will house the bankÂ’s corporate banking division, which provides leveraged finance and acquisition finance products for the French market. The bankÂ’s Paris operation is headed up by Olivier Boyadjian and John Smith, who lead a team of 17 corporate finance professionals. It has recruited ten new staff in the past 12 months and is one of the largest deal-making teams in France. Bank of Scotland has built a loan book of FFr 5bn since it began trading in France in 1996, and sees the French market as continuing to show potential for growth. In recent years it has been involved in deals such as General Trailers, Orefi and Moliflor Loisirs, the buy-and-build operation led by PPM Ventures.
The new office is located at 10 rue Cimarosa, 75116 Paris.
