Apax Partners & Cie
Hervé Descazeaux has been promoted to the post of director at Apax Partners & Cie, while David Darmon, Geoffrey Leland and Simon Marc have been made investment directors. Descazeaux joined Apax Partners in 1998, having previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the US and in Paris. He is part of the buyout team. Darmon, who joined in 1999, began his career at Goldman Sachs in London, while Leland joined in 2000, after spells at SG Cowen in London and Associés en Finance in Paris. Simon Marc also joined Apax in 2000 and had previously been an analyst at Goldman Sachs.
