AFIC to host annual French private equity conference in April 2005
The Annual Conference of French Private Equity is bringing together more than 600 professionals from French and international financial institutions and private equity houses. It will be held on 5 April 2005, from 8am to 6pm at the Palais Brongniart. On the previous evening, the Senate's chairman has organised an official reception at the Palais du Luxembourg for institutional investors.This year's programme will focus on the impact of the FFSA's (French Federation of Insurance Companies) and the GEMA's (Mutual Insurance Company Association) commitment to increase substantially their investments in mid-market buyouts. It will also examine the new Alternext stock exchange and the subsequently incurred exit strategy prospects.A broad range of participants from the corporate, investment and private equity management sectors will engage in topical discussions and analyses of present and future trends throughout the two days.
