Afic names Olivier Millet as new chair

French private equity trade body Afic has elected Olivier Millet, the chairperson of Eurazeo PME, as its new chair.
Millet will take over from Michel Chabanel, the CEO of Cerea Capital, who was elected as Afic chair in 2014. Millet's tenure will also run for two years.
As part of the appointment, Afic also reshuffled its board, nominating Naxicap's Luc Bertholat, Idinvest's Benoist Grossmann, Access Capital Partners' Agnès Nahum and Caroline Rémus from EPF Partners as vice-presidents.
Millet started his career at Capital Finance, before joining Barclays Private Equity in 1994 as the firm set up a presence in France. He stayed there for 11 years before founding OFI Private Equity, which was sold to Eurazeo in 2011.
Having joined the listed investor as part of the sale, Millet is now chairperson of Eurazeo's small-cap arm, Eurazeo PME.
