
EdRip welcomes ActoMezz staff
EdRip has announced the integration of ActoMezz staff to its own team, following its acquisition of the mezzanine and minority equity provider in July.
In July, unquote" revealed that Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners (EdRip) would acquire Acto Mezzanine (ActoMezz), a French mezzanine debt and minority equity provider, from fund manager ACG Capital.
As a result, EdRip is now integrating ActoMezz staff into its own team. New team members include Stéphane Bergez, Arnaud Faure, Laurent Fichter, Xavier Buisson, Jean-Baptiste Bessières and Christine Martinovic.
Bergez joins as associate director and main manager at ActoMezz. He previously worked at 3i and Perfectis Private Equity before joining ActoMezz in 2011.
Faure joins as associate director. Before joining ActoMezz, he worked on financing strategies for acquisitions at Compagnie Financière du Crédit Mutuel and did corporate credit and investment banking at Banca Intesa and Crédit Lyonnais.
Fichter is also associate director at ActoMezz. He has seven years' experience in acquisition financing, having worked at Crédit Lyonnais in London and at Mezzanis – Crédit Agricole Private Equity's mezzanine fund.
Buisson joins as a director. Before joining ActoMezz in 2011, he served as deputy director for acquisition financing at IKB and as associate at Bayerische Landesbank.
Bessières joins as investment director. Before joining ActoMezz, he was a transaction service assistant manager at PwC.
Finally, Martinovic is also joining as investment director. She previously served as associate at Mezzanis.
With these latest additions to its team, EdRip now counts 54 staff members. It currently has €1.5bn in assets under management, and is still raising funds for the Cabestan Capital 2, Bio Discovery 5 and, starting from 2017, Acto Mezzanine 3 vehicles.
