Advent appoints Sébastien Veil as director

Global venture capital and private equity firm Advent International has appointed Sébastien Veil as director in its Paris office.
In his new role, Veil will essentially focus on investments in business and financial services, and the industrial sector.
Veil joins from PAI Partners, where he was principal and was involved in the sourcing, execution and monitoring of large-cap and mid-cap buyouts in France, Spain and the UK. Prior to this, he worked as adviser on labour law to then French president Nicolas Sarkozy.
Veil first began his career as junior judge on the French supreme court for administrative justice, otherwise known as Conseil d'Etat.
His appointment is part of an effort to reinforce Advent's presence in France.
