
Apax France promotes three, appoints senior associate
Apax France has promoted Annick Bitoun and Henry Capelle to directors and Julien Birman to principal, alongside the appointment of Pierre-Olivier Corvol as senior associate.
Bitoun joined Apax in September 2014 as a debt manager. In 2016, she took part in the acquisition of Marlink, InfoVista and Melita. She also helped in the financing of several build-up transactions, including Laurate for the INSEEC group, Telemar for Marlink, and TEMS for Info Vista.
Capelle joined Apax in 2011 as part of the telecoms, media and technology (TMT) team. Since then he has worked on the acquistion of InfoVista, on the divestment from Infopro Digital, and on the Gfi Informatique exit. He currently works on the development of Altran, Gfi Informatique and InfoVista.
Birman joined Apax Partners in 2014 on the distribution team. He recently took part in the acquisition transactions of Melita and Sandaya. He currently works on Apax investments Europe Snacks, Sandaya and Alain Afflelou.
Hired earlier this year and joining from his previous role at Boston Consulting Group, Corvol is part of Apax's TMT team. In his new senior associate role, he will focus on the telecoms and energy industries and will be involved in M&A, reorganisation and performance improvement strategies.
All members are based in Apax's Paris office.
