Amundi launches platform for real and alternative assets
Paris-based asset manager Amundi has launched a platform aimed at consolidating all its real and alternative asset activities in a single entity.
Amundi's real estate, private debt, private equity, infrastructure and alternative multi-management activities will be integrated, bringing together a team of 200 investment professionals in origination, structuring and management with €34bn assets under management – an amount the firm is looking to double by 2020.
Through the new platform, Amundi will also give institutional and individual investors the opportunity to invest directly in real assets, or to invest through co-investments transactions and multi-management funds.
Listed on the public market since November 2015, Amundi currently has around €1tn in assets under management worldwide.
