Accenture and Partech form strategic partnership
Paris-based Partech Ventures has partnered with Dublin-headquartered consultancy firm Accenture in a bid to extend Accenture's startup network in Europe.
The newly established partnership is hoped to open up co-investment opportunities for the firms. Under the agreement, Accenture will invest in two Partech funds and join its advisory committee, gaining access to the firm's network of startups. Partech currently has a presence in Paris, Berlin and San Francisco.
Accenture will make a minority equity investment in Partech Entrepreneur II Fund, specialised in seed funding, and in Partech International Ventures VII, focused on early-stage investments.
Following the recent opening of an innovation centre in Paris, Accenture's partnership with Partech is part of its strategy to improve its presence in Europe.
