Oxford Capital appoints Miles Kirby as director
Oxford Capital has appointed Miles Kirby as a director to lead the firm's investments in technology companies.
Kirby will lead the growth investments team in his new role, having been an independent consultant since leaving Qualcomm Ventures where he served as managing director until November 2015.
Within Qualcomm, Kirby ran an internal incubator, making a push for the company's initiatives in augmented reality, wireless charging and machine learning. He also set up and ran product management teams for mobile phones and display groups within the firm.
According to Oxford Capital, he holds 19 patents around the world.
