Tikehau lists on Euronext Paris with €1.5bn market cap
Asset management and investment group Tikehau Capital has listed on Euronext Paris with a €1.5bn market cap.
The firm listed on compartment A on 7 March 2017, with an offer price set at €21 per share for nearly 71 million shares in total.
On this occasion, French investment fund Fonds Stratégique de Participations is joining Tikehau's shareholder base, the firm said.
Earlier this year, Tikehau launched a tender offer targeting securities of Salvepar, its listed subsidiary focusing on minority investments. Holding 58.8% of Salvepar's share capital and 59.8% of its voting rights, Tikehau filed a proposed simplified public exchange offer, together with an alternative simplified public cash offer, targeting the shares and the convertible cash option bonds of the group.
Tikehau offered €55.30 per Salvepar share and €61.63 per convertible bond. It also aimed to enforce a squeeze-out for the group's remaining shares, representing around 39.1% of the share capital and co-held by MACSF Épargne Retraite, MACIF, Suravenir, Compagnie Lebon, Neuflize Vie and Tikehau Capital Advisors.
Founded in Paris in 2004, Tikehau claims to be managing close to €10bn in assets at present, spread across its four subsidiaries: private debt, real estate, private equity and liquid strategies.
