
Alpha Associés appoints Rossignol as partner and head of France
France-based Alpha Associés Conseil, the adviser of the Alpha private equity funds, has appointed Jacques Rossignol as partner and head of France.
According to the firm, Rossignol has 13 years' experience in the private equity sector and seven years in investment banking. He has previously focused on the healthcare, technology, business services, consumer goods and tourism sectors.
Rossignol is joining from his previous role at 21 Centrale Partners, which he joined as partner in 2008 and became managing partner in 2014. His exit from the firm was announced in February this year as part of a larger reshuffle that saw François Barbier being promoted to deputy CEO with plans for him to take over from founding managing partner Gérard Pluvinet.
Before joining 21 Centrale, Rossignol spent four years at Groupama Private Equity from 2003 onwards, where he focused on healthcare and tourism investments.
In his new France-based position, the new joiner will work alongside Alpha partner Olaf Kordes and operating partner Patrick Herman. He will lead a team that should be subject to further expansion in the near future, according to Alpha.
The firm started raising for Alpha Private Equity Fund 7 in 2016 with a target of up to €800m, according to unquote" data. Its previous fund had closed on €700m in mid-2012.
