Keensight promotes Svensson to partner
French private equity and venture capital firm Keensight Capital has promoted Magdalena Svensson to partner.
Svensson joined Keensight in 2014 and worked as an investment director until her partner promotion. She took part in several investments in the healthcare sector, such as the creation of Demetra in 2016 and the investment in Unither in 2017.
Prior to joining Keensight, she worked at XAnge Private Equity as a partner between 2004-2014. Before that she worked at ABN Amro Capital between 2000-2004 as an investment manager, and also spent some time at Swedbank.
Keensight previously appointed LBO France's Anne de Bonnefon as head of investor relations in its Paris office in January. The firm's most recent fundraising activity saw it hold a final close for Keensight IV on its hard-cap of €250m in October 2014.
